Laky's Awesome Doom-style Engine

Ever thought about how Doom (1993) works? How iD Tech pulled off near-3D graphics on the sluggish 286/386 computers? Well I have! This is the product of that experiment - a bit buggy, a bit unpolished, but really extendable and fun :)

The game right now is built for Windows only.

Note: The actual framerate of the game on modern PCs should be much higher than in the screenshots. The low framerate is because they were captured in a debug version :)

Install instructions

To run the game, simply unzip the .zip file and launch lakys-doom-game.exe.

You will need atleast OpenGL 3.3 compatibilty.
